Please read carefully. These Terms govern your use of the Lokayoo software. By deploying or using Lokayoo, you agree to be bound by them.

1

Acceptance of Terms

By deploying or using Lokayoo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

If deploying on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the software.
2

Description of Service

Lokayoo is self-hosted software you deploy and operate inside your own infrastructure. We provide the code, Helm chart, and documentation. You are responsible for deployment, configuration, security, and ongoing operation in your environment. Lokayoo includes:

Log viewer (S3-backed)
Metrics dashboard (Prometheus)
Alerting (AlertManager)
Security scanner
FinOps / cost optimiser
Role-based access control
3

Account Registration

Lokayoo user accounts are managed within your own deployment. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your deployment.
  • Notifying us immediately of any security incident at hello@lokayoo.com.
4

Acceptable Use

You may use Lokayoo for any lawful purpose within your own AWS account and EKS clusters. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software without our written permission. You must not use Lokayoo to monitor infrastructure you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor.

5

Data & Privacy

All infrastructure data processed by Lokayoo — logs, metrics, security findings, cost data — remains within your own AWS account. Lokayoo has no telemetry or phone-home features. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your contact information when you reach out to us.

6

Intellectual Property

Lokayoo and its underlying code are the intellectual property of Lokayoo and its contributors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the software for your own internal operations.

7

Availability

Lokayoo is provided "as is". We make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose. Since you host it yourself, availability depends on your own infrastructure.

8

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lokayoo and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software.

9

Termination

You may stop using Lokayoo at any time by uninstalling it from your cluster. These terms survive termination to the extent necessary to enforce accrued rights.

10

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Lokayoo following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lokayoo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Questions: hello@lokayoo.com.
